Methods of research
- A study research. Secondary data collection, reliability checking, analysis;
- A focus-group. Qualitative method of marketing research by means of an interview given by a group of respondents to a specially trained moderator according to a specially designed topic guide;
- Questioning. Made up with the help of a structured questionnaire, offered to be filled in by the respondents selected from the general aggregate, in order to obtain a certain information from them;
- Expert questioning. A questioning of the respondents possessing enough skills in a certain sphere of experts/specialists;
- Content-analysis. Objective, systematic and quantitatively defined characteristics of basic parameters of communications;
- Home test. Product testing in a “home” environment, conditions of their real usage;
- Hall test. Testing certain product characteristics in a closed environment; creating purchase conditions;
- Mystery shopping. Evaluating sale conditions & service quality with the help of shopping performed by research company specialists;
- Projection method. None structured and indirect method aimed to make the respondents express their hidden reasons, opinions and attitudes/feelings towards the studied issue;
- Association methods. A kind of projection methods, when the respondent is offered an object and then asked to express his first idea, which has come to his mind.
